In 1391 and 1402 Gosselyn witnessed conveyances at West Chickerell and Weymouth, respectively. It was along with John Alday and as an executor of another local man, Henry Palmer, that in 1414 he conveyed property in ‘le Franchise Street’, Weymouth, to John Penne of Portland.1CCR, 1392-6, p. 99; C146/5944; CAD, i.
