biography text
The subject of this biography may possibly have campaigned in France with Hugh, earl of Stafford (d.1386), for one of the earl’s undated retinue rolls contains the name of John Huntingdon, esquire. If this was in fact the case, Huntingdon must have been quite old when first returned to Parliament, but no other evidence survives to illuminate his career.1E101/42/16.
