Established at Wallingford by 1360 at the latest, Milborne subsequently witnessed a very large number of local deeds.2Boarstall Cart. (Oxf. Hist. Soc. lxxxviii), nos. 694, 697, 709-12, 714, 716-17, 720, 722, 724-6, 760, 766, 780; Bodl. Chs. Berks. 114, 121, 125; CCR, 1364-8, p. 195; 1377-81, p. 328. He owned property both in the town and at nearby Clapcot, and served almost continuously as a juror in local courts and at views of frankpledge between 1376 and 1394. At least six times an alderman, Milborne was probably holding this office when he sat in Parliament for the second time, in 1380. He seems to have died soon after 1394, when he stood surety for the attendance in Parliament of John Coterell and John Denby I.3Boarstall Cart. nos. 674, 776; Bodl. Ch. Berks. 118; Berks.
