Nothing is recorded of John beyond his appearance on the endorsement of the parliamentary return of March However, it seems likely that he came from a prominent Midhurst family, for a Robert Mousehole was one of the principal burgesses who in 1432 received enlarged privileges from their lord, Sir John Bohun.1W.
