TOUPREST (TOWPREST), John, of Bath, Som.

Touprest was a member of the jury which at Bath in 1378 gave proof of age for Thomas Berlegh, the grandson and heir of Sir James Hussey. He witnessed conveyances of Berlegh’s property at Batheaston and Bathampton in 1379, 1384 and 1391, and other local deeds in 1387 and 1392.1Med. Deeds Bath (Som. Rec.
