John Sargent, a merchant trading with North America,2APC Col. iv. 648. was brought in by Lord Montagu, the patron of Midhurst, at the request of Henry Pelham.3Sargent to Newcastle, 2 July 1760, Add. 32908, ff. 21-22. He died 20 Sept. 1791.
