Bluett Wallop served in Flanders in 1743 and 1744 as a page of honour to the King and at Culloden in 1746 as equerry to the Duke of Cumberland. Returned as a government supporter for Newport in 1747 on the interest of his father, then Governor of the Isle of Wight, he died on 6 June 1749.
