In the autumn of 1384 the sheriff of Hampshire sent a precept to Agulon, in his capacity as bailiff of the liberty of Portsmouth, to hold the borough elections to the Parliament convening that November. At the elections to the two Parliaments of 1388 Agulon found mainprise for the appearance at Westminster and Cambridge of John atte Mede and William Bristowe, respectively, both of them returned for his home town.1C219/8/11, 9/4, 5. John Agulon, who acted as attorney for the town of Portsmouth at the Exchequer in 1421, may have been his son: Portsmouth Recs. ed. East, 567.
