BIRKRIG, John.

During the early 15th century, the Birkrig family owned land in Rough Hill in Bampton, Westmorland. A reversionary interest in the property was held by one Thomas Baty of Salkeld, who relinquished his title in 1431, but nothing else is known about the Birkrigs during this period.2Cumb. and Westmld.
