In 1395 and 1396 Croner witnessed conveyances of property in Lyme belonging to John Dorset and Walter Tropenell, respectively. As a parishioner of Lyme, he gave evidence in 1405 and 1408 to the dean of Salisbury as to the state of the local church, which at the latter date was in a ruinous condition.1C146/1597; Harl.
