John was perhaps a relation of William Hulle, five times MP for Wilton between 1351 and 1365. Otherwise, unless he is to be identified with the man who, appointed alnager in Wiltshire in February 1401, was still in office at Michaelmas 1403, nothing more is known about him.2CFR, xii. 90, 182; E101/345/4.
