KNOLLER, John, of Bletchingley, Surr.

In May 1408, described as ‘of Bletchingley’, Knoller was a witness to a conveyance of land in the manor by John Deubeneye to John Parker. Ten years later, Simon Gibbe, a labourer from Reculver, Kent, was pardoned his outlawry for not appearing before the justices of the King’s bench to answer John Knoller and John Overhevene on a suit of trespass, although it is by no means certain that Knoller was the principal victim of this crime.1U.
