A member of the important Corpus Christi guild of Leicester, London helped to found the guild chantry in 1392. He owned a house in the town near the north bridge, and between 1378 and 1400 rented, from the duchy of Lancaster, a farm (worth 28s. per year) in ‘Le Holyrodelane’.2CPR, 1399-1401, p. 371; Trans.
