At the elections to the second Parliament of 1384, Trereise, along with Thomas Treuref, stood surety for one of the knights-elect for Cornwall, Sir Ralph Carminowe. It was Treuref again whom Trereise accompanied to the Cambridge Parliament of 1388. No evidence of a relationship between him and the brothers John and Michael Trereise has been discovered.1C219/8/11.
