Davies was returned to Parliament by Lord Powis on the death of Frederick Cornewall. He voted for Fox’s East India bill, 27 Nov. 1783, and in Stockdale’s list of 19 Mar. 1784 was classed as a Foxite. There is no record of his having spoken in the House, and he did not stand again in 1784.

He died 15 Oct. 1817.
