In 1413 Alday occupied a house in Weymouth next to one belonging to Thomas Cole I. It was in the following year that, as an executor of the will of another local man, Henry Palmer, he conveyed property in ‘le Franchise Street’ to John Penne of Portland.PCC 27 Marche; CAD, i. C1415.
