CHAMBER, Alan, of Arundel, Suss.

Chamber may have made a living from farming, for in 1409 he supplied a cartful of hay to the bailiff of the manor of Arundel. He was perhaps the father of John Chamber, a leading burgess of Arundel in the 1450s.Arundel Castle ms A342; Bodl. Ch. Suss. 72.
