This was probably the Peter Cook, described as ‘of Leominster’, who in April 1412 took out a royal pardon for failing to appear in the court of common pleas to answer charges of debt brought by John Morested and Margaret his wife, widow of Robert Newton.CPR, 1408-13, p. 336.
