He was perhaps the man who, as Robert Cruk or Crukern, acted as attorney for Sir Philip Courtenay in the King’s bench in 1388, or he who as Robert Crokker was charged with debt at a court held at Barnstaple castle in 1398, but nothing is known of him for certain.Reprint of Barnstaple Recs. ed.
