FAUCONER, John, of Devizes, Wilts.

In about 1430 Fauconer and his wife gave a house in East Street, Devizes, to the parish church of St. John there, the rent from which was to provide wages for a chantry chaplain. He witnessed a deed at Devizes in March 1433.Wilts. Arch. Mag. xxxvi. 536; Add. Ch. 37517.
