Together with William Dene of Shoreham, Dusse, a chapman by trade, was sued by William Fouchier, a citizen and mercer of London, for a debt of £5. It was while attending Parliament for the first of certainly nine times (possibly ten) that, on 27 Nov. 1417, he procured a royal pardon of outlawry for failing to appear in the court of common pleas to answer the charge.1CPR, 1416-22, p. 96.
