Daubeney was probably a local man, for John Hardy and Henry Bont stood surety for his attendance at the Parliament of November 1384, Thomas Cuttyng and Thomas Moleyns did him the same service in 1385, and Henry Bont again undertook that he would attend in 1386.1C219/8/11, 12, 9/1.
