biography text
At the assizes held at Lewes in June 1422, Mason was sued by John Woghere of East Grinstead and his wife in a plea of novel disseisin, but no details of the suit are recorded. Otherwise he remains unidentified; it is quite possible that two men of the same name are involved here, the one sitting for Lewes, the other for East Grinstead.1JUST 1/1532 m. 10.
